My husband and I were reflecting recently about the ways people can let us down and even the way we let each other down, at times. It was then that Hugh started a running list of statements or responses that God would never say. It became fun to talk about these, but as I look over this list, it means the world to me that I have a God who will never disappoint.
I want to share this list with you this morning to hopefully put a smile on your face and remind you of how perfect the Living God is…and how extraordinary it is that He wants to have a relationship with you and me.
Some Things You’ll Never Hear God Say:
- I’m busy — can I get back to you?
- Oops
- I forgot
- I”m sorry
- I don’t know
- What did you say?
- Sorry I’m late
- I was wrong
- I’ll see you later
- You did what??
- I really don’t have time
- But I meant to
- Don’t take this personally but I need my space
- I didn’t mean it that way
- Why Me?
