My husband and I were reflecting recently about the ways people can let us down and even the way we let each other down, at times. It was then that Hugh started a running list of statements or responses that God would never say. It became fun to talk about these, but as I look over this list, it means the world to me that I have a God who will never disappoint.

I want to share this list with you this morning to hopefully put a smile on your face and remind you of how perfect the Living God is…and how extraordinary it is that He wants to have a relationship with you and me.

Some Things You’ll Never Hear God Say:

• I’m busy — can I get back to you?

• Oops

• I forgot

• I”m sorry

• I don’t know

• What did you say?

• Sorry I’m late

• I was wrong

• I’ll see you later

• You did what??

• I really don’t have time

• But I meant to

• Don’t take this personally but I need my space

• I didn’t mean it that way

• Why Me?
